I used to be your everything
But I know that was before
You told me to wait for you
But I'm not waiting anymore
●
& that was the night we whispered goodbye
You told me to be strong, that I would be fine
I told you I would be but baby that was a lie
But I've cried every night because you're now mine
●
I hear nothing but silence from every side
I'm all alone with no where to hide
Because when you left you stole my heart
& now without you, I'm falling apart
●
& yes I know that you can be cruel and unkind
But I've come to realize I really don't mind
I can deal with your temper and the mood swings
Even though when we fight it still does sting
But i know you love me even more
Everytime I don't turn and walk out the door
●
I know that sometimes I'm going to fall apart
I know as I grow I'll have a broken heart
But also I know not to fear my past
Because I know somethings aren't meant to last

Music Take Me Far Away..
I'm pretty sure that we all know that feeling where we are upset, angry, confused, happy, whatever it is that we are feeling suddenly we hear a song and it seems like it was written just for us, like the lyrics were ripped straight out of your heart and put on paper, that feeling that maybe somebody does understand how we feel.
If you think about it tho, there are millions of songs out there, and for every song you feel perfectly expresses how you feel, there are probably about a hundred other people out there who have, still do, or eventually will feel the exact same way, like those lyrics were written for them. Music is just another way of trying to reach out to the world, tell them something is wrong, that they are hurt or have been hurt but no one seems to be able to grasp the fact that in order for those songs to be written then the artist has felt the exact same way.
Its so simple for people to go around saying that they are fine, that nothing is wrong, and it happens over and over again all day everywhere in the world. The reason that we do this, the reason we lie to our family, our friends, eventually even to ourselves trying to say that we are fine is because we don't have the words to express how we really feel, how our hearts feel like they shattered in a million pieces around us, or how we are sick of people treating us, no matter what it is that we feel, its to hard to explain so we lie and say we are fine when we are far from it.
These days tho, we are making it a lot easier on ourselves to express how we feel, facebook statuses. Yes, most of the time they are just what we are doing, who were with, who we like, who we like to think we love, but then you see the song lyrics. If you actually asked someone about why they put specific lyrics as their status so that all of their 'friends' can see it, they would simply tell you that its a great song, thats it. Be real, we know that lyrics only get put on facebook if they really mean something to you, how you feel, how hurt you are.
The problem with this is that we spend all of that time trying to find the perfect song, the perfect verse and exactly how to go about putting it as our status and then when people do notice it, they never say anything. Maybe instead of asking why those lyrics are there just think for a minute, what those lyrics could possibly mean to them, who they could remind them of, because nine times out of ten, you'll realize pretty fast exactly whats wrong and all it took was the perfect song.

When Your Heart Takes Over..
You can't just break me, time and time again, eventually I'll stop running back, some day i'll just stop answering, stop dying to hear your voice, i just wish that someday was today.
One comment, on one picture, and then its just like we never stopped talking, like we never moved on, like everything that i have done in the last few months to erase you from my life is over. There are some people, who try for months, years even to mean as much to me as you did, for gods sake they try to mean half as much to me as you did! You though .. you have to power to just with one text, get me right back to the place that I know eventually you will rip away from me again and then im just falling, and falling and it never ends we just do this over and over again, this game we play, does it ever end, more importantly do i really want it to?
I know i don't, I never want to let go of that tiny little sliver of hope that I know I will always have, the one that keeps me crawling back to you as soon as you call to me, like i'm some sort of dog, newsflash i'm not letting it be easy on you this time, your going to have to fight, your going to have to try and prove to me that you actually know how to care, please, I need to know that you still do because the bottom line is, im still inlove with you.

The Questions That Have No Answers..
Why? Why don't you care? Why weren't you there for me? Why are I not pretty? Why am I not smart?
All of these have three things in common;
1. They are all questions that are asked a thousand times every single day in every corner of the world in every
language on earth.
2. They all begin the exact same way, with a single word, why.
3. They all have no answer.
Through my entire life people have always asked me the same question, the same question that everyone in the world get asked every single day, why. Why are you chewing gum? Because you can be? Because you enjoy it? or simply, because you are, there doesn't have to be a set reason.
People will always tell you that you can't just do something because you want to do it, you have to have a reason for doing it, but what if you don't? Maybe you decided that you wanted to jump off a bridge, okay so I know you actually wouldn't, at least I hope you wouldn't, but after you do, people are going to ask you, why did you do it? Now maybe there was a reason, you thought it looked cool, you wanted to act tough, but maybe there just isn't a reason, you simply did it.
In todays society however that is not an acceptable answer, of course its not, if you don't have a reason then there is nothing for people to pick apart, to try to tell you what you did wrong, they have nothing to criticize, and that is what they fear the most, not being able to humiliate and ridicule people for the choices that they have made in life. Its pathetic how society has turned one word into something that can simply be used to make a mockery of people.
In school a teacher would come up to you and say, why didn't you do better on this test? How is a child supposed to answer that question, and that right there is part of the problem, they know you have no answer, they know that because there is no answer it hurts you, degrades you and makes you feel like you are worthless. Asking why you didn't do better is like asking why you have 2 eyes and only one nose, there is no answer and sometimes people just need to accept that there is no answer and never will be.
So instead of asking why someone isn't smart enough or pretty enough, try asking yourself, why do you even want to know? to see the look on their face when they don't have answer? For the self confidence it gives you to feel like you out smarted them, so you feel superior standing beside them? Take a look at yourself before you ask why and think about how you feel when you get asked that very same question, one, two, maybe 100 times every single day..
